Items of a routine and non-controversial nature are placed on the consent agenda to allow the Board of County Commissioners to spend its time and energy on more important items on a lengthy agenda. Any Commissioner may request that an item be “REMOVED” from the consent agenda and considered separately. Any member of the public may “REQUEST” any item be “REMOVED” from the consent agenda.
Any member of the public may address the Board on matters which are within the jurisdiction of the Board. If you are addressing the Board regarding a matter listed on the agenda, you are requested to hold your comments until the Board takes up that matter. Please limit your comments to three (3) minutes.

After losing their Maloit Park location, the longtime supporters of the Eagle Valley Community Fund’s Rummage Sale have regrouped to discuss next steps. At two recent meetings, Nancy Nottingham, Vi Brown, and many others were excited to see so many members of the community attend and offer their support for the Rummage Sale. Vail Public Library, United Way of Eagle River Valley, and the Humane Society are just a few of the organizations committed to seeing this, “Jewel of the Valley” live on. Several ideas have surfaced to not only continue the event, but also to use the sale to boost local self-sufficiency. Lori A. Barnes, Rebecca Kanaly and Sara Amberg will share and exchange thoughts on the most recent updates/efforts.
