Eagle County Air Terminal Corporation
16:21Eagle County Air Terminal Corporation (ECAT) desires to enter into a three-year term concession agreement with Frontier Rental Inc, d/b/a Dollar Rent A Car to offer rental car services at the Eagle County Regional Airport. Concessionaire desires to lease certain premises within the Terminal Building and use certain facilities and grounds for the purpose of providing rental car services. The agreement shall become effective on November 1, 2018, and remain in effect until October 31, 2021, with an option to renew for up to three additional one-year periods. The leasehold is established at 230 sq ft and includes 37 ready/return parking spaces, as identified in Exhibits A and B. Eagle County Air Terminal Corporation (ECAT) desires to enter into a three-year term concession agreement with The Hertz Corporation to offer rental car services at the Eagle County Regional Airport. Concessionaire desires to lease certain premises within the Terminal Building and use certain facilities and grounds for the purpose of providing rental car services. The agreement shall become effective on November 1, 2018, and remain in effect until October 31, 2021, with an option to renew for up to three additional one-year periods. The leasehold is established at 640 sq ft and includes 109 ready/return parking spaces, as identified in Exhibits A and B. Eagle County Air Terminal Corporation (ECAT) desires to enter into a three-year term concession agreement with Enterprise Leasing Company of Denver, DBA Alamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental to offer rental car services at the Eagle County Regional Airport. Concessionaire desires to lease certain premises within the Terminal Building and use certain facilities and grounds for the purpose of providing rental car services. The agreement shall become effective on November 1, 2018, and remain in effect until October 31, 2021, with an option to renew for up to three additional one-year periods. The leasehold is established at 240 sq ft and includes 45 ready/return parking spaces, as identified in Exhibits A and B. Eagle County Air Terminal Corporation (ECAT) desires to enter into a three-year term concession agreement with Avis Budget Group to offer rental car services at the Eagle County Regional Airport. Concessionaire desires to lease certain premises within the Terminal Building and use certain facilities and grounds for the purpose of providing rental car services. The agreement shall become effective on November 1, 2018, and remain in effect until October 31, 2021, with an option to renew for up to three additional one-year periods. The leasehold is established at 400 sq ft and includes 145 ready/return parking spaces, as identified in Exhibits A and B.
Resolution Energy Efficiency County Buildings
18:56On September 4, 2018, staff presented several internal standards options for Eagle County to follow when building new facilities. Through research, site visits, and feedback from the public, staff recommends that all new construction projects are scoped to LEED Certification standards.
Apprenticeship Week in Eagle County
24:36The demand for skilled workers continues to increase and the modern registered apprenticeship system is a proven method to meet this demand and helps Eagle County prepare for economic development and economic growth. Apprenticeship programs prepare Eagle County's workers to compete in our changing economy. We have several bona-fide, registered apprenticeship programs here in Eagle County including New Electric and Vail Resorts. The Eagle County Board of Commissioners hereby proclaims that November 12-18, 2018 be "Apprenticeship Week" throughout Eagle County.
Colorado Gives Day in Eagle County
29:08Charitable giving in Eagle County is critical to providing support that local nonprofit organizations need to make our community a desirable place to live. Community First Foundation and FirstBank have partnered in an effort to increase charitable giving in our community through the online giving initiative Colorado Gives Day. Colorado Gives Day in 2017 raised $49.1 million in a single 24-hour period via online donations, $928,583.31 to Eagle County nonprofits, at eaglecogives.org, a website allowing donors to direct their contributions to one or more of the forty-eight (48) local, Eagle County, charities featured on the site, making it an ideal resource for facilitating charitable giving to our locally-based nonprofit organizations. Colorado Gives Day is December 4th this year, and all citizens are encouraged to participate because all donations, large or small, can make a difference to nonprofits in need.

42:42EAGLE COUNTY VETERAN OF THE YEAR – 2018 In honor of Veterans Day 2018, Eagle County is proud to award the Eagle County Veteran of Year award. This award is bestowed upon an outstanding veteran who has exemplified the values of serving community, educating citizens concerning patriotism and love of our country, recognizing fellow veterans for deeds in the community, and serving fellow veterans in outstanding ways. This year's award goes to Theron Sims, better known as Buddy. EAGLE COUNTY VETERAN VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR - 2018 In honor of Veterans Day 2018, Eagle County is proud to award the Eagle County Veteran Volunteer of Year award. This award is given to an Eagle County veteran who goes beyond the call of duty to help other veterans in need, to assist with County Veteran programs, participates in outreach programs and generally contributes to the image of County Veterans as generous, thoughtful, patriotic and proud citizens. This year's award goes to Terry Mahoney.
